Elena specialized on privacy since 2014. Till June 2020 she was a Global DPO in an international IT company, where she implemented GDPR processes and principles in all main processes of the group, including recruitment, marketing, sales, software development for customers. Under Elena’s supervision was developed was developed a web portal for collection of electronic consents and processing of DSPs; the process of handling of Personal data breaches.
Elena graduated as a lawyer from the law faculty of Moscow State University of M.V.Lomonosov in 2006.
She has been CIPP/E certified in 2018, and trained CIPT, CIPM and Privacy by design in 2019. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and member and expert at Russian privacy professionals association (RPPA), participant and speaker at a number of privacy conferences and forums. She also has an additional education in the leadership and management.
Elena has extensive experience in negotiating contractual terms related to the protection of personal data, including Data processing agreement, Data sharing agreement, SCC, etc.
Elena has experience in project management, internal audit of processes for compliance with GDPR and Russian law, assessment of the existence of legitimate interest, assessment of privacy risks, development of recommendations for compliance engineering with an understanding of the needs and internal specifics of the company.
